Face Application
Configure and use Face Application on the AI Dashboard to detect blocklist, VIP, and regular customer face comparisons during live view.
Face Application is supported by devices such as DeepinMind NVRs, DeepinView cameras, and dual-lens cameras. It provides face comparison alarms for persons in the blocklist, VIP, or regular customer categories during live view. When a detected face matches a person in the blocklist or VIP face picture library, the security center receives the corresponding alarm so you can take action quickly. It can also help evaluate regular customers, making it useful in hospitals, supermarkets, shopping malls, and similar venues.
Set List Types for Face Picture Libraries
You can configure a list type for each face picture library on the device so the software knows whether a detected person is on the blocklist, is a VIP, or is a regular customer.
Click AI Dashboard → Face Application, then click the settings icon in the upper-right corner to select the list type for each face picture library on the devices.
Blocklist If the alarm type is set to Blocklist, the AI Dashboard shows a blocklist alarm when captured pictures match those in the face picture library.
VIP If the face picture library is set to VIP, the AI Dashboard shows a VIP alarm when captured pictures match those in the face picture library.
Normal Face picture libraries that belong to neither the blocklist nor VIP can be set to Normal. The AI Dashboard does not show any alarms when captured face pictures match those in the face picture library.
This function must be supported by the device, and the face picture library must be configured on the device first.
Set Cameras for Showing AI Information
You can specify which cameras display AI information during live view. For example, if you select a camera that is not currently displayed in the live view window for showing VIP information, that camera performs static detection in the background and shows the VIP AI information.
Click AI Dashboard → Face Application, then click the settings icon in the upper-right corner to select cameras for showing AI information in real time.
Select the alarm type to display for different cameras: Blocklist Alarm, VIP Alarm, or Regular Customer Alarm.
All Cameras in Live View If you check All Cameras in Live View, only the AI information of cameras currently displayed in the live view window is shown.
Custom Cameras If you check Custom Cameras and select the desired cameras, the AI information of the selected cameras is shown regardless of whether those cameras are in live view.
Show AI Information
After setting up the cameras for showing AI information and configuring list types for face picture libraries, you can view the AI information.
Click AI Dashboard → Face Application, then select the camera(s) from the camera list to start live view and show AI information.
This function must be supported by the device.
Camera List
The camera list on the left panel shows all resources added to the client software. Select the appropriate window division and desired camera(s) to show AI information.
The number of channels available for live view at the same time is limited by the performance of the PC running the client.
Right-click a camera in the camera list to switch the stream type between main stream and sub-stream.
Display Intelligent Information on Live View
You can view the real-time video of the selected camera(s).
Click the intelligent display button in the global toolbar of the live view area and select the window to enable the desired intelligent display. For example, if the blocklist alarm is enabled for all live view windows, recognized targets are marked dynamically on the images in all windows. You can also click the icon at the bottom of each window to enable intelligent display for the camera in that window.
Face Comparison
If you set the Face Comparison switch to ON, when a blocklist person, VIP, or regular customer is detected, a related alarm notification with a corresponding color is listed on the right panel. You can view the alarm time, camera, and other details of the alarm.
Historical Captured Picture
You can view historical captured pictures at the bottom of the page.
Enable Alarm Triggered Pop-up Window
Click to enable the alarm triggered pop-up window. After enabling, a window pops up when a blocklist alarm is triggered, showing the captured pictures and alarm details.
